Air Company Vodka

While all vodka is distilled down to a clear, pure liquid, Air Company has taken the levels of purity to a totally new level. Their vodka is the first to use carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, adds water, and uses electricity to break apart the carbon dioxide and water to transform it into ethanol and oxygen. This means no farming, no grain, and no irrigation — making it the most eco-friendly spirit on earth. After conversion, Air Co. uses a custom-built vodka still that distills the ethanol into an 80 proof vodka that is not only carbon negative but also happens to be great in a martini. It's hand-bottled with removable and reuseable labels and each one produced equal the daily carbon intake of eight trees.

The inside story behind the funniest baseball card ever made

Keith Comstock played on four major league clubs as a journeyman reliever, but his professional career is most often remembered for one thing: a ball to the crotch. Thirty years ago -- in what otherwise would have been a forgotten minor league set -- Comstock appeared on one of the most memorable baseball cards ever made. Here's the story of how it came together, in his words.

Floyd is 70s Skate-Inspired Rolling Luggage

Floyd is 70s Skate-Inspired Rolling Luggage at werd.com

Created by a pair of Bavarian skateboarders who were inspired by the introduction of the urethane wheel that revolutionized skateboarding  in the early 70s, Floyd is a collection of hard-sided rolling cases that will glide through the the airport like Tony Alva in an empty backyard swimming pool. Which is to say: smooth & stylish & bold. They offer the overhead-size Cabin Case & the larger Check-In Suitcase. Both roll on translucent red replica “Cadillac” urethane wheels—just like the best boards of the Dogtown era. Available in a rainbow of cool colors.

Ford Shelby GR-1 Coupe

Superperformance Ford Shelby GR-1 Coupe

In 2005, Ford debuted the GR-1 at the North American International Auto Show. A spiritual successor to the Shelby Daytona coupe, the GR-1 was part of Ford's push for a retro supercar that also saw the Ford Shelby Cobra concept in 2004 and culminated in the legendary Ford GT that entered production the same year. 14 years later, the Ford has announced that the GR-1 is going to be built thanks to a licensing deal with Superperformance, a company that makes officially licensed Cobra and GT40 replicas. The original GR-1 concept packed a 6.4 liter, 600 horsepower V10, and Ford says that both ICE and electric versions will be produced, along with a special edition closely based on the 2005 concept. Ford said that production will be limited to about 200 units, and like the new GT, will go fast to a very exclusive group of buyers.
